In Australia compliance is a major issue. This page has some important facts (I hope!) for vehicle compliance.

Engine

The L76 last date of use is important as we cannot use very old engines here in VIC. I have confirmed that the L76 was last used on a production car on the 17/08/2007, WD4 production code, used in the Holden VZ. The L98 was used after that. I will obtain a document from Holden regarding this statement to assist with any compliance issues.
